Why should a school, university or higher education institution have an IELTS partnership with the British Council?
Suitable test dates
We offer a vast number of dates to choose from to suit their course programmes. Partners can ask the British Council to organise an IELTS session directly in their venues (or in their city) choosing one of the dates available every year.
Free IELTS trial tests
Your students can benefit from free IELTS trial tests which offer valuable test day experience.
Fast turnaround registration for results and certificates
Results will be ready just 13 days (for IELTS on paper and 1-2 days for IELTS on computer) after the test. Universities and schools can access results online through the free online verification system. Candidates can access results online and will also receive a printed Test Report Form (TRF). Additional printed forms can be requested in the future.
Remove admin load from university
All test administration procedures including material delivery will be taken care of by the British Council at no extra cost.
