We’re delighted to share that we will be at the ALTE Conference “Responsible Language Assessment to Empower Learners” in Munich from 15 to 17 April.

Organised by Association of Language Testers in Europe, this leading international event brings together experts in language assessment, education, and policy from across the globe. The ALTE Conference is a key platform for sharing insights, research, and best practices in language testing and assessment. You can find the full programme for the 2026 edition here.

We are excited to be actively involved in this year’s conference through sponsoring the conference coffee break on 16 April at 15.55, where you can meet our colleagues Eileen Loughlin and Erica Callery. We also invite you to join our two sessions during the event:
16 April, 10.30: “DeFINE: an empirically-developed proficiency test evaluation tool to support fair and responsible test use in different contexts” Richard Spiby, Emma Bruce
17 April, 14.00: “The Wild West of English Language tests for HE admissions: test developer and university responsibility for enhanced duty of care” Karen Ottewell, Emma Bruce
