What UK/Germay events took place this July?

Elsewhere is here: 70 years of twinning cities Hannover & Bristol

One of the first pair of UK-German twinning cities, Hannover and Bristol looked back at a colourful shared past. How have artists experienced and processed this partnership?  "Elsewhere is here : Anderswo ist hier" is the exhibition accompanying a unique artist exchange - get a glance at the great works, which were presented in Hanover this July, here!

The extraordinary project brought together four artists from BV studios in Bristol (Alec Stevens, Catherine Knight, Robert Luzar and David Morgan-Davies), one curator (Ruth Piper) and artists from Hannover (Conrad Veit, Jean Sikiaridis, Marlene Bart, Sven-Julien Kanclerski and Rui Zhang) for an inspiring exchange in which artists visit eachother and create their own works as a response.  ©
