IELTS
In Germany we focus on IELTS (International English Testing System). This test is required for admission to educational institutions worldwide (recognised by all universities in the UK , Australia and New Zealand and by over 275 top universities in the USA ) as well as for immigration to Australia , Canada and New Zealand . The exam takes one day and your results are dispatched two weeks after the test date.

University and Professional Examinations
We administer External Examinations , as some of the most renowned British universities and professional bodies offer their qualifications as distance learning courses. Register directly with these institutions and sit your exams here at the British Council Berlin. It is also possible for students of UK universities to re-sit examinations here. Please note that we do not offer GCSE, O-Level and A-Level Exams.
