Preparing for the world of work - language education for the future: British Council Languages for Europe Conference,
26-27 January 2010, Berlin

Please see www.britishcouncil.de/e/english/conferences.htm for the conference programme.

We regret that due to high demand the conference is currently fully booked. Experience from previous years has shown, however, that some registered participants cancel their participation. This is why we would like to offer you a place on a waiting list. If you wish to be put onto this list, please write to
elt.germany@britishcouncil.de and tell us which institution you work for, what your position is and why you are interested in joining the conference. We will then get back to you in due course. Many thanks for your understanding and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

 Benjamin Zephaniah
Benjamin Zephaniah is a British poet who enjoys performing his art. His poems are fun to read but tell us about racism, animal rights, pollution and other things that need fixing in our world. Check out his poems, and the teaching materials and audio files from BritLit and the British Council Argentina.
