| The British Council in Germany is running a UK-German education policy
seminar series which aims to provide a platform for bilateral dialogue
in the area of education policy reform.
We hope the series will create opportunities to exchange best practice
and experience and forge long term partnerships between high level
education professionals and young people. It aims to strengthen the
relationship between the UK and Germany and to give impetus to education
reform in both countries following the publication of the PISA report
in 2001.
The series will consist of a number of events, each focussing on
a selected key area of education policy. Each seminar will bring
together 15-20 senior German and UK policy-makers.
The youth panel is aimed at young people from both the UK and Germany
who are affected by the education policy under discussion in the
high-level event. Participants will range in age from 16-19 for
school-related topics to 18-24 for higher education.
